Run a review from cadence to signed-off minutes

Set a cadence, let the agenda build itself, capture decisions and actions, and close the meeting so the follow-up goes out.

A cadence is a standing meeting — weekly, monthly or quarterly. You set it once and the agenda builds itself before each occurrence.

The agenda builds itself

A few days before the meeting (three by default, and configurable per cadence), ImproveDesk creates the review, assembles the agenda from your open register and outstanding actions, and emails everyone in the workspace — unless you have turned the prep digest off in settings.

During the meeting

Work down the agenda. Each item can carry a decision and can produce an action with an owner and a due date. Actions are written back to the register as you go, so nobody has to transcribe anything afterwards.

An action must have an owner. Unowned actions are never chased, because the escalation digest groups by owner and has nobody to email.

Closing

Closing the review makes the minutes read-only and queues the follow-up: what was decided, and who owes what by when.

Missed meetings

If nobody starts an agenda before the next one builds, the old one is marked superseded rather than left sitting in the list or quietly deleted. Deleting it would destroy the evidence that a meeting was missed, which is usually the thing worth knowing.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if we skip a meeting?
An agenda nobody started is marked superseded when the next one builds, so they do not pile up. No follow-up email is sent for a review that never took place.
Can I still run a review on the Free plan?
No. The review engine is part of the Team plan. The register, the audit log and unlimited contributors are free forever.
